My Story: 🌟 My Thermomix Journey: Challenges, Growth & Community 🌟
Every journey has its twists and turns, and mine with Thermomix has been no different. What started as a way to earn my own Thermomix in September 2020, while on maternity leave with my 4-month-old daughter, has grown into something much more than I ever expected.
In April 2023, I stepped away from the business, burnt out and struggling under the pressure of constantly being pushed to do more. The stress had taken a toll on my health, leading to anxiety and heart palpitations, and I knew I needed a break. But life has a funny way of leading us back to where we’re meant to be. After some unexpected work challenges, I decided to return to Thermomix in February 2024—this time on my terms.
I hit the ground running, confirming as a consultant and signing three new consultants within my first 60 days. One of them even completed her booster program in just four months! But just as things were looking up, life threw another challenge my way—my Thermomix motor blew just four days after my warranty ended. We couldn’t afford the repair straight away, so I had to put my business on pause.
Four months later, I finally had my Thermomix back in my kitchen… only for another major setback to hit. On October 10th, I slipped at work and hit my head, suffering a concussion that developed into post-concussion syndrome. The past few months have been some of the hardest of my life—dizzy spells, blurred vision, light and sound sensitivity, memory loss, and constant headaches made even the simplest tasks difficult. Social situations became overwhelming, and I felt incredibly isolated.
But through it all, I found one thing that brought me peace—cooking. 👩🍳💚
I started going live on Instagram daily, sharing my love for food, recipes, and everything Thermomix. And something amazing happened. I found my people. My community grew, and suddenly, I wasn’t just running a business—I was building connections. My Facebook group became a thriving, supportive space filled with people who love using their Thermomix and supporting one another.
🎉 Huge Milestones Achieved! 🎉
In December 2024, I hit some incredible goals I had set for myself:
✅ Sold my 70th Thermomix – 70 families changed forever!
✅ Earned my Ovana Pizza Oven 🔥
✅ Earned a brand-new white TM6 🤍
✅ Completed my booster rewards program, meaning every sale between then and the end of February 2025 is pure bonus!
✅ Achieved Go Getters Step 3 for three months in a row (which I’ll explain more about soon!)
Looking back, I realise just how much this journey has given me. It’s been tough, but it’s also shown me what I’m capable of. It’s taught me resilience, perseverance, and independence. It’s given me the chance to meet incredible people, learn new skills, and build a business that works for my family and my life.
