What is the Women Changing the World Awards?
The Women Changing the World Awards is a prestigious honour that recognises and celebrates women who are making significant contributions to various fields, ranging from sustainability and humanitarian work to leadership and education. For me, what does this award mean?
Beyond personal recognition, receiving this award would provide me with a broader platform to elevate the voices of educators and advocate for the changes needed within the early childhood education sector. It offers an opportunity to reach a wider audience, engage with policymakers, and inspire others to join the movement for change.
For me, the Women Changing the World Awards represent not only recognition for my efforts but also a powerful platform to amplify the message of empowerment, support, and advocacy that lies at the heart of my work. This award serves as validation of the challenges I've overcome and the impact I've made in supporting early childhood educators in such a short amount of time and effecting positive change within the industry.
The nomination for the Women Changing the World Awards is indeed a significant milestone and a powerful tool for expanding awareness of the impactful work you're doing. Despite the current constraints that may prevent you from attending the Global Summit and awards ceremony in London, the nomination itself carries immense value and potential to drive positive change.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a more supportive and inclusive environment within the early childhood education sector, where educators feel valued, empowered, and able to provide the best possible care for the children they serve.
Achieving solutions to the identified problems within the early childhood education sector, particularly in family daycare settings, requires a multi-faceted approach that involves collaboration, advocacy, and systemic change.
